OUR STORY
Sapphire Bay Yacht Club was founded by Bob Barnes in 2017, originally called Bayside Sailing Club. Even though the name of the club has changed over time, our mission and values remain rooted in his vision. We have expanded our membership opportunities in 2024 to be inclusive of all boaters, and those who share a love for our lake.
Our community enjoys the lake by racing sailboats, cruising, raft-ups, live music, over-nighters, and parties on and off of the dock.

OUR MISSION
Sapphire Bay Yacht Club's sole purpose is to encourage and promote the sport of sailing in a fun and encouraging fashion; allowing professional and novice alike to engage in and enjoy club races and club activities.
