Founded in 2017 by Bob Barnes as Bayside Sailing Club, Sapphire Bay Yacht Club (SBYC) has grown into a welcoming haven for boaters and lake enthusiasts. While our name and reach have evolved, our core mission and values remain true to Bob’s original vision—bringing people together through a shared love of the water.
This year, we’ve proudly expanded our membership to include not just sailors, but all boaters and those who cherish the beauty of Lake Ray Hubbard.
